Greetings. I received a nice set of equipment for XMas (6 gallon + 5 gallon carboy, a brewing bucket + bottling bucket, capper, tubing etc) and the obsession has begun. My Google calendar is filled through May with a brewing schedule.
I'm still getting the hang of it but after brewing my first batch with friends, I handled the 2nd batch rather well (although I had a slight boil over!). I love to cook so I cannot wait to start getting into the details of the hops and grains to start creating my own recipes!
