New Brewer from Maine

Hello all!

I have just recently decided that the greatest thing I could do would be to brew my own beer. I've been reading through this forum for a couple weeks and have been very excited to see how helpful everyone is, and the wealth of knowledge and experience is unreal!

I'm about to brew my first (German Oktoberfest). I was given the equipment, and have my choice of plastic fermenter, or glass carboy...I'm thinking it may be easier to start with the bucket (?).

Anyway...just wanted to break my forum cherry, and say hi to all of you folks.

Loving all these Maine brewers! There is a reason why there have been so many new breweries opening up in the state. It's a great hobby ave fun with it!
