New brew in MD

Hey all, new to the forum and to brewing beer. In my younger days it wasn't uncommon to find juice bottles with balloons on top of them in my closet, but the days of that rot gut stuff are long over. I wanted to get into brewing for a long time but there was always an excuse not to do it. It wasn't until recently when I was literally yelled at by a beer judge at a local beer fest. Screaming how easy it was while he tossed a copy of zymurgy mag in my direction, I was determine to give it a shot. Just finished my first 1 gallon kit (all grain), it didn't turn out perfect but at least its drinkable. Hope to learn as much as I can and make some great brew.

I dont think I'll be ramping up too much, I live in an apartment. So a 3 gallon boil will probably be pushing the limits of my stove.

Hammy Im in Maryland city, I get the benefits of enjoying Baltimore and DC.

Thank you for the warm welcome

After reading john palmer's book and most of "complete joy" I'm sure i'll get to partial mash very soon. I honestly want to take time to brew small batch with the most basic recipes (SmaSh brews) to really understand the whole process and get a good understanding what each ingredient brings to the table.
