Need to tape threads?

I have made considerable process on my kegerator, having installed the tap tower last weekend. It looks very good in my converted Marvel wine fridge...

Before putting together the CO2 and regulator (and running Star San through to sanitize the line), do you need to tape the regulator thread? Also, I didn't tap the tap thread for that matter. Are the gaskets satisfatory to not need this?

Looking forward to getting my Classic American Pilsner kegged...

You need teflon tape on any NPT threads, NOT on the threads where the reg attaches to the tank or where the faucets thread on to the shanks. Also, no tape on the tailpieces and nuts on the rear of the shanks.
 
Anything you might unscrew on a semi-regular basis shouldn't have tape on it 'cause it'll just get messed up.
