Hello, I purchased a corny keg yesterday and the gas key plug assembly was so tight that I needed to use a liquid penetrate to loosen it. Now my keg still smells of the liquid penetrate oil after soaking in oxyclean and PBW overnight.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to completely remove the smell?

Thank you!

BrakeClean spray then your general cleaner.
I was in trouble and used a bier mug to save
spilled 90 wt gear oil (overfilled big time stupid).
This was one of my bier drinking mugs. Used brakeClean
then thru the dishwasher with no gear oil sulfur smell or oil taste.
