I have a RIMS setup with honeywell gas valves, 10" hurricane burners and a dual stage Marshall regulator on the propane tank. I'm not getting enough propane to the burners. What are my options?

The way I see it, I can:
1. Switch out the dual stage regulator for a single stage one or
2. drill out the orifices to get more flow to the burners.

Adjusting the screw above the regulator spring on the honeywell valve does not increase the flames

You need to drill the opening in the gas fitting on the burner out to 3/32", it probably has an opening much smaller than that for use with high pressure propane. Here is a chart for drill size/Vs btu's, use the 11" propane column http://www.joppaglass.com/burner/lowp_chrt.html. You should try and stay below 7/64", the test of gas jet size is the air shutter opening, when it is fully opened to get blue flame, the opening in the gas jet is as large as it can go.
