need IPA recipe help

hi everybody..

I have some left over hops im trying to incorporate into an IPA recipe.

I have:
1.75 oz zeus (aka colombus, aka tomahawk, aka... this thing has more aliases than a bank robber).
0.25-0.5 oz N. brewer.

I would also like to use my washed WLP007 that I harvested from a 1060 stout.

I was looking at either edwort's IPA or rye IPA recipes, but am open to suggestions. I kinda want something on the simple side (which is why I like ed worts recipes).

or... does anyone have a strong recommendation, for or against, the use of

zeus, n. brewer, and wlp007 in edwort's rye ipa?

I'm drinking a beer with northern brewer hops now- a steam beer. I've never used those in an IPA, because they're unusual. A sort of woody, sort of minty flavor that I can't imagine in an IPA. Zeus are ok, but a bit harsh.

Zeus/ Northern brewer seem sort of an odd combo for an IPA to me.

I've only used Norther Brewer as a bittering addition, but see it listed as a Chinook substitute on several sites. It is a dual purpose hop, so I wouldn't be afraid to use it in the late boil additions with some Zeus (and perhaps some Cascade or Amarillo).

Pick up some bittering hops like Nugget, Warrior or more Northern Brewer and have at it!
