I started a box beer on Jan 12th and had done ever thing up to and including adding yeast. Under unuseall circumstances the liquid had set for about 5 weeks(sealed) and as far as I can tell it has not fermented. My question is can this be saved?
Any info much appreciated.

What do you mean by "boxed beers" a kit? What was it fermented in, an ale pail? A carboy? Did you have an airlock on it? Did you take an original gravity reading with a hydrometer before you pitched the yeast?

The more info you give us the more we will be able to help you.

I think he means 'boxed kit beer'...like Brewer's Best, etc.

Take a hydrometer reading. its the only way to know if its fermented or not.
