Hey all,

My brew club is meeting next weekend to brew and this will be my 1 year mark brewing. I need some help putting a recipe together with what I already have to make a great beer for the occasion. Mind you I'm still doing extract. I got a whole bunch of Northern Brewers and Czech Saaz hops and a 6lb bag of light LME. Anyone have suggestions on what I could add to make this an awesome beer? Thanks!

How about a partial mash with some crystal 20, some honey malt, and some dextrine? Having a "one year brewing" party is a good reason to step up to the next level.

For our Club's Anniversery beer we did a stout with some local ingredients (yeast from a brewpub, locally smoked malt from a distillery, homegrown hops, local honey). Turned out well, nice to do something that has a bit of meaning behind it if you can.
