Can anyone help me out here???
I go on vacation and while I am away the Autopilot pool pilot cubby saltwater chlorinator sh!ts the bed, and pool turns green. the diagnostic system is flashing 4 times, indicating there is no cell voltage or current.the fuse is good too. I am thinking I need to replace the transformer on the control board. the manufacturer recommends sending the unit in for repair, however the unit is discontinued and they stated they would just replace the whole system.

I keep the cell clean and there is no bridging of the plates, the wiring checks out good, and the system will come on and work correctly for a couple minutes if I shut of its power for a minute or so. Then it starts flashing again and the cell stops working.

This is the older in deck unit not the inline cell one.
Are any of you in the pool repair business? I need to get this resolved and am currently light on cash so a new $1K salt system is out of the question.

Have you check the power supply?

"Check
DC volts @ Blue flow connector for 4.6 to 5v DC. Lower than 4.6v DC = bad power
supply."

Less than 2% of the pools I clean are salt each one has a different unit so I'm not well versed in them.

I will go check that in a bit, I need to get fresh batteries for the multimeter first.
