Does a naturally carbed keg still need to be connected to CO2 to serve? This is probably a dumb question but and I am assuming the answer is yes.

For a party can I naturally carb a keg, put it on ice to cool it down and then hook up a simple pump still tap, or get one of the small CO2 dispensers?

thanks!

You will need something to push the beer out of the keg. Either CO2 - or - If you plan on the entire keg being gone at the end of a party a hand style pump like at your college keg party would work. A hand pump will spoil your beer over a few days due to oxygen and nasties in the air.

Or a small CO2 dispenser would work too.
