i bought from china and singapore.
from singapore a bit troublesome, cause when you bring back to malaysia. Customs officers may give you trouble.

I'm currently working in Singapore. but leaving to malaysia in next week.
Before i leave i bought whatever i can get in singapore .

Btw, singapore can get all equipments and ingredients that you want for brewing .

That China system is clearly a distilling system, not a beer brewing system.

I have brewed for a few years with the kit and supplies from a brew store. I am just trying to experiment and do it in a cheap way. It's a fun hobby, a13x3181. I love brewing at home with friends since I first brewed a nut brown ale. Let me know how is your brewing go. If you happened to be in KL, let me know and we will go grab some good beers and talk about beers.

Might be worth some of your efforts to contact the brewer at Guiness Bhd in Selangor. Talked with him quite a bit when I was last in Malaysia. I suspect he's the kind of guy that would work out a way to "piggyback" some materials for homebrewers. Been too long since I've been there, 5 years, can not remember his name.

Oh cool. But I doubt they will do something illegal by giving some yeast out for homebrewers. The lincense is expensive and its not worth their risk.

It is not illegal to distribute yeast, or grain.

What you choose do with it should not infringe on their license.

Never had any liquid or dry yeast die after flying it in. Or mailing it. I would also have someone mail in some dry malt extract in a Bisquick box along with dry yeast packets. No problems at customs but it's expensive to ship. Liquid malt extract always gets flagged in air transport though leaving the USA. You guys should try and do a bulk grain purchase from Singapore or Thailand and truck it in.

buy from singapore is not a good idea. Thai should be better

The ibrew Singapore owner charges $15 for international orders.
Google thai brew home. The owner is called khun Bird and he is VERY helpful.
The other place is brew-by-me. A bit more expensive and slower to answer emails.
