I made the solution with distilled water and its been stored in a bucket. It is still very clear looking and I checked the PH with a ph strip, was about 3.0 PH.

Is this still a good idea to use or should I just go ahead and make up another batch of sanitizer??

I've got a solution from last week...ph is 3, but its cloudy (always clouds up after a day or so). I've read its probably because I use tap water, but do you think its alright to use?

Yes. IIRC, it is the surfactant reacting with calcium in teh water. As long as the pH is 3 the solution will work but the cloudy haze indicates a stability so don;t expect that to hold too much longer.

whenever anyone buys starsan at the LHBS the owners says in a stern voice "USE DISTILLED WATER"
