I just ordered ingredients for my next 3 brews. Let me know what you think even though it's too late :p. The plan is to have all 3 done and ready to drink on my birthday, though the RIS will probably be green it should be ready to try.

HBT 08-08-08 RIS
-----------------

BJCP 13F
Batch Size: 2.50 gal
Estimated OG: 1.099 SG
Estimated Color: 55.0 SRM
Estimated IBU: 73.2 IBU
Brewhouse Efficiency: 70.00 %

Ingredients:
#7.5 Rahr 2-Row Pale Malt 75.00 %
#.75 Roasted Barley 7.50 %
#.25 Chocolate Malt 2.50 %
#.50 Crystal 80L 5.00 %
#.25 Crystal 40L 2.50 %
#.50 Special B 5.00 %
#.25 Weyerman II 2.50 %

.60 oz Warrior (60 min) 69.3 IBU
.50 oz EKG (10 min) 3.9 IBU
.50 oz EKG (0 min)
Notty Yeast 5-week primary
This is the recipe I found for the 08-08-08 RIS only simplified for the sake of not having to order a whole bunch of random malts.

Roadside Assistance
--------------------

BJCP 10B
Batch Size: 2.50 gal
Estimated OG: 1.060 SG
Estimated Color: 11.0 SRM
Estimated IBU: 66.4 IBU
Brewhouse Efficiency: 70.00 %

Ingredients:
#5 Rahr 2-Row Pale Malt 86.96 %
#.25 Crystal 40L 4.35 %
#.25 Crystal 80L 4.35 %
#.25 Honey Malt 4.35 %

.25oz Simcoe (60 min) 26.4 IBU
.25oz Simcoe (45 min) 23.7 IBU
.25oz Ahtanum (30 min) 5.1 IBU
.25oz Ahtanum (15 min) 2.7 IBU
.25oz Simcoe (10 min) 5.3 IBU
.25oz Ahtanum (5 min) 1.7 IBU
.25oz Ahtanum (1 min) 1.7 IBU
1 oz Ahtanum (Dry Hop 7 days)
.25oz Simcoe (Dry Hop 7 days)
Re-Pitch onto Notty Yeast Slurry from a Brown Ale.

Kind of a crazy hop schedule, but the goal is to get Pine and Grapefruit flavors with a strong malt backbone. My first shot at the style so I'm sure the next batch will need adjustments but practice makes perfect.

Orange Honey Hefe
------------------

BJCP 15a
Batch Size: 2.50 gal
Estimated OG: 1.055 SG
Estimated Color: 4.0 SRM
Estimated IBU: 14.9 IBU
Brewhouse Efficiency: 70.00 %

Ingredients:

#2.5 Rahr White Wheat Malt 50.00 %
#2 Rahr German Pils 40.00 %
#.50 Honey 10.00 %

.25oz Hallertauer (60 min) 9.9 IBU
.25oz Hallertauer (30 min) 5.0 IBU
.50oz Hallertauer (Dry Hop 3 days)
Wyeast #3638

I'll put some oranges in the primary. This is a modification of my first Hefe, I want it drier hence the honey. I wanted a lot of complexity, so I'm giving it some flavor and aroma hops. We'll see what happens.

They all look good to me (except the hefe...not a big banana fan...).

Oh...and the 888, dial your OG down to 1088, the IBU's up to 88, add one more pinch of grain for a total of 8 grains...and then you'll have the true 888-RIS. ;)

Yea I'm not sure how banana and orange are going to mix but it has to be better than the last hefe batch I made (I didn't stir the priming sugar).

I changed the 08-08-08 a bit but I think it's still close in spirit. All those grains were too many for me to order in such small volumes. Do you think the IBU's will be ok down at 73?

well I brewed the "RIS" except I ended up with 3.5 Gallons instead of 2.5 so it' not going to be so Imperial this time. 69% efficiency. The boil was crazy long...I really really need a turkey fryer.

Pale brewed on 05-02-09. That also went a little poorly. My efficiency fell all the way to 55%, I think because I did not stir the mash like I normally do.

I got a turkey fryer so I'll use that to make the Orange Honey Hefe this weekend. I'm tweaking that recipe a bit to bring it down a few points but should stay close to the same.
