New to the group. Just posting the keezer I built as I know I was looking for a lot of ideas when I built mine- hopes it helps/inspires others. I had an old chest freezer (10yrs old) that wasn't being used. It was a little beat up- so I wanted to hide the freezer, but allow for it to to be replaced when the freezer does go. It is standard size chest freezer that I can replace at any appliance store. I also was looking for a liquor cabinet, and more of a bar type look. It has dual regulator, tower, with custom taps and granite top.

Very nice-looking design.

How does that freezer cool? Does it have a fan that blows over the coils, or is it one of the designs where the freezer sheds heat through coils in the sides?

If it's the latter, you may have issues as the freezer will struggle to shed heat as it's all covered up with the panels. Looks like the side next to the CO2 bottle is exposed; I'd consider adding a small computer fan inside to help circulate air past the side, and cut some air holes in the back to allow at least some air to circulate--though it looks like the back may be open which should help with that.

You can't tell in pictures- but the entire back is open. The freezer has a vent on the right side, I cut the wood to match this vent. I left the back open as it is a now 12 yr old freezer. All I will need to do is remove the 2x4 in back, the 4 carriage bolts holding top on, and drill matching holes in new one.
