i had three kegs and all three were pouring perfect. After one emptied I shut off the co2 to do some work and replaced with a new keg. Now the two that were flowing great are now very foamy. Basically the only thing effecting the two was just turning off the gas for a while and back on. I’ve tried purging the and lowering the pressure with no help. What would cause a good flowing keg to be foamy by just turning off off the gas and back on, and how do I fix it?

Some information on my system is I’m running 13ft bev seal 3/8” lines around 38 degrees at 11-12 psi if the gauge is right. When I shut off gas at the manifold for the two good kegs, I put in the new keg and turned the pressure up to 30 to check for leaks and try and seat the seals. I turned off the valve to the new keg and lowered the pressure down and opened the valves to the old kegs. It was probably higher than original pressure around 15 psi. I noticed all the foam and put it at 10 and purge the extra pressure. Will they eventually even out and flow normal again or do I need to do anything?

I’m doing the set it and forget it method to carbonate the new keg, I just initially pressurized it to 30

"I’m running 13ft bev seal 3/8” lines"

You sure the lines aren't 3/16" ID?

I would have guessed the original problem was the lines and perhaps even the kegs had warmed up while you were attending to the third. But that should have resolved itself had everything been left alone and allowed to cool back down. With all the messing about with gas pressure it likely complicated the situation.

Set everything back to 11-12 psi at 38°F, let it sit overnight and see what happens...

Cheers!

Sorry, yes they are 3/16”. They did warm up on me which I’m sure didn’t help. After backing it off to 10 psi and sitting over night it still has some foam but not as bad. I was wondering if turning gas off to one and shaking it a little and purging it would help, but will probably just leave it alone.
