I was given some hops starts on another forum. I got them in planted, watered, and mulched them. Now it is time to sit back and wait. There were 4 rhizomes, 2 large with a dozen buds/sprouts each and 2 that looked like root cuttings the size of a magic marker. They all looked healthy and had plenty of signs of growth. I planted them all in partial shade. I would rather have limited production than burn them up in direct sun in our heat, It was in the upper 80's today.
They came from Lebanon PA and are a wild or forgotten variety, so I'll have to name them after I try a brew or two with them.
