My first extract/grain brewday

I finally took the plunge and decided to do my first extract/grain brew. I've done 4 coopers kits so far, they turned out ok, but I wanted a bigger challenge and thought now was a good time.

It took a little longer than expected - 10pm to 2am, but I had a lot of fun and I am happy with how the first stages turned out.

I made a honey pale ale

nice... ive never made apfelwein whats it taste like? hard cider? It seems that EVERYONE makes it... any threads as to how to make it?

It's a little one....

The taste of Apfelwein is debatable. Some love it, others... well... Prisonhoochfelwein is a common alias. I use a keg as a base for mixed drinks for teh ladies. Liquid pantie solvent.

I've never tasted it before, but I can just tell it's gonna be good so I made another batch before the first one finishes. The stories about it are priceless too.
