Hi Ho Everyone,
Just joined up to today. After reading some threads and replies how could i not join, seems like a very friendly and helpful community you have here.

I started my first Beer Brew last Friday with a Can of liquid malt and hops from the beautiful mountains around Sydney some where.....and was quiet worried about how it will go (seems like this is natural) after learning a couple of little things the hard way (if you lift fermenter up by handles it might suck water back in through your S bend!!!) it started to show signs and bubbling 40 hrs after i mixed her up:tank:

Couple of things that I'm curious about though...
Once i had pored my wort in and the blend, given her a stir and added 21L of water i got Froth on top around inch thick. Should i be sprinkling my yeasties on top of the froth?

And i was just curious on ppls thoughts on Hops Bags, is it just for the aroma or do they help out the taste a fair bit to ?

Any tips or thoughts would be great : )

Well- in answer to what appears to be the question, yes, don't hesitate to just sprinkle or pour your yeast right on that foam. I do, and always get great fermentation.
