2. Rogue Dead Guy Clone

3. Stone Arrogant Bastard Clone
-from the Jamil Show

4. Jamil's Evil Twin
-fom Mr. Malty

5. Summit hops APA (have 2 oz of summit hops so thought I'd do a simple brew to see how they taste)

-Anyway, I am just kinda pumped about these brews and wanted to share. Anyone have any experience with em?

I'd love to see the recipe for the Dead Guy Clone. I know there are a bunch of these (Yooper has one, doesn't she?), but I'd be happy to look at another.

I'm going to do a IPA soon with mostly Summit. I made one before that was so very good. I did a Summit APA but I found it lacking. I didn't use use as the bittering, maybe that would be better?

did you consider doing the stout after one of the other american pale ales so you can pitch onto a nice big cake of yeast?

I know that SN uses chico, but the pac-man would make a fine american stout.

Hmmm... Good point about yeast cake pitching! I wasn't even thinking about yeast. I suspect I will use Pacman Slurry for all but the Arrogant Bastard when I will proly just use Notty...

Thanks for the recipe.

Edit: FWIW here are my next four brews (probably over the next two months):

American Pale Ale - loosely patterned on Doggie-Style Pale Ale
BM's Cream of Three Crops
Dubbel
Weizenbock

I'll brew the pale ale this weekend - the starter is on the stirplate now. The others will be done in no particular order.

Apparently Jamil brewed the second attempt at Arrogant Bastard today. I wonder how it'll turn out.

Really? So will they have another episode on Arrogant Bastard with the new iteration in a few months then?

There are 2 carastan malts and they didn't specify but it should be carastan light the 15 love one. I didn't catch it until after I made it and it was too dark, but the interview he says the 15 love one.

At the 27:30 mark of the show he says he uses c15 great western.

I made it and used the 30-37 and its like an amber.
