Made an IPA today. Brew day went real well, IPA's are a more active brew day with the extra hop additions. Hit my OG spot on.
Recipe:
9 lbs 2 row
1 lb 60 L
4 oz Caravienne
4 oz Vienna
1 lb golden light DME

mashed at 152 for 1 hr

4 gallon boil(5 gallon pot)
1 oz Horizon 60 min
1 oz Cascade 60 min
1 oz Cascade 45 min
1 oz Willamette 15 min
added DME at 15 min
1 oz Cascade at Flameout
top off fermenter to 5.25 gallons

using rehydrated US-05 yeast

dry hopping 1 oz cascade

hopefully will be fantastic

Hmm. I have never used Horizon. Interested in how it is as a bittering hop.

The williamette addition is interesting I'm curious to know how it pairs with cascade. Congrats on hitting your gravity spot on, good job! Looking forward to the tasting notes
