I am making a clone of Fullers ESB and the final step before bottling is to boil 1.25 cups of Muntons extra light DME in 2 cups of water. I used Muntons Plain Extra Light for the main recipe (the brew store did not have any Muntons Light DME), so I know this beer will be lighter in color than the real thing.

I have Muntons pale extra light DME (7 ebc) and Briess DME (pilsen light) at home. Would it make a huge difference if I mixed the Briess and Muntons or used Briess?

Thank you!
