I'm going to brew a Munich Helles. Kinda light. I looking for a session brew.

4 lbs. German 2-row Pils info
1 lbs. German Vienna info
3 lbs. Munich 10L Malt info
1 oz. Hersbrucker (Pellets, 3.4 %AA) boiled 60 min. info
.5 oz. Hersbrucker (Pellets, 3.4 %AA) boiled 20 min. info
.5 oz. Hersbrucker (Pellets, 3.4 %AA) boiled 3 min. info
Yeast : WYeast 2247 European Lager II info

Predicted Maibock/Helles Bock
Original Gravity 1.039
Terminal Gravity 1.008
Color 7.82 °SRM
Bitterness 21.5 IBU
Alcohol (%volume) 4.0 %

Whatcha think?

Looks solid, although for a traditional Helles I would go with more pils in place of most of the Munich. Aroma hops also aren't too common in the style, but it would still be very tasty as is. Seems like your efficiency is pretty low, 8 lbs of grain for 1.038. Good luck.

What the Helles, close enough.

Just as a comparison, I have been making a Helles for a few years that is about 8 lbs of base or Pils malt and 0.5 lbs Munich. My OG is in the 1.042 - 1.046 range. Hopping is similar to your. I save the Vienna for a Vienna lager. This is my favorite "house beer".

Dr Malt :mug:

It looks tasty but it's an Oktoberfest Lite rather than a Helles. A Helles uses pilsner malt, no Vienna or Munich.
