Anyone know if an older version of MS Office will work with Windblows Vista?

Nuts there seems to be a problems with the compatibility with Vista and Outlook 2002. In short it will not remember the password each time you start the prog. Windblows has no intention of fixing the problem because Outlook 2002 is out of support. They want you to buy the program AGAIN.
I have run into this problem before with Norton products and swore I would never buy 1 again. (So far I haven't)
