Sorry for the repeat, but here is my question (also posted in the BN forums)

I'm moving in 2-weeks. I have some robust cascades and centennial hops in my garden and was hoping to carry the rhizomes over to my new home. I'll be out of a house for about 2-4 weeks. Can the rhizomes be transferred and if yes, then what's the best course of action.

You have two options
.
1 transplant into a planter.
2 Cut rhizomes and keep them in the fridge with a moist paper towel in the bag.

If I read the post right they will be two- four weeks before transplanting?

yes, 2-4 weeks before transplanting. Thinking about some little pots that can travel. Or ziplock, and cooler with wet paper towel

I just re-read and it looks like they'll actually be in limbo for that 2-4 week spell. If they're not too big you can do just what halifax suggested. I'd try to find a big planter to give them as much room as possible also and also try to find a place to store them that's shady/cool if possible.
