Got my first brew, a Coopers Wheat extract, moved to the secondary. We tasted the beer we used for our hydrometer reading and it tasted great after two weeks in the primary!

After we got that moved to the secondary we sanitized everything and we got started on a Newcastle Brown Ale clone from Austin Homebrew. It was an extract kit but we did have one pound of grains and two hops additions so it was a lot of fun.

Anywho, just though I'd stop by and share what I'm up to. If anyone remembers we ended up doing the Coopers Wheat on the charcoal grill :D For our second brew we bought a propane burner which made things a lot easier!

Below are pics from the evening.

The one pound of grains for the Newcastle Brown Ale clone.

One ounce of Fuggles for the full 60 min. at the bottom of the pot then 1/4 ounce Kent Golding at the top right of the pot for the last 15 minutes.
