So the room my carboy is fermenting at as 65 degrees. The temp inside the carboy though is 70 degrees. Should I move it to a colder area or let it sit. I would go ahead and move it, but I dont have a handle for it yet, making it a pain in the butt (read: back).

First leave it, its perfect right where it is.

Second don't move a carboy just by the handle. Always get underneath it to lift it when full. Handles just make them easier to handle when washing them and dumping out the water.

you can move it if you like, but minimize shaking (no aeration)

it's not necessary though. 70F should be fine, depending on the style.

what type of beer is it?

I believe it's an IPA, but I'm a bit of a rookie. It's the three hearted ale kit from Northen Brewer, I think it's a clone of the two hearted ale from bells. However, the two hearted doesn't taste much like an IPA to me, so I'm not sure.

Your beer will be fine. The reason the temp is higher is because fermentation generates heat usually about 5 deg. Don't worry have a :mug:
