Got a 5 gallon batch of cider in a plastic carboy sitting in my brew room, it's been done fermenting and had it resting for about 4 weeks. Just checked it today and the airlock had fallen out. There is small amount of what looks like mold on the surface of the juice. Is this batch ruined? Is there any way to save it??
 
rack out from under the mold as soon as possible and get it to a freshly sanitized vessel. There's no telling if it can be salvaged or not if it truly is mold, but it's always worth a shot.
