Hey all,

This is only my second brew, so I may be a little too concerned over nothing. I brewed an Irish Red Ale, and this is the result after two weeks. The weather got unexpectedly a little hot, but I'm concerned about the floating particles. Not sure if it's mold. Note as well the white looking part is glare from the flash. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

Yeast rafts with a side order of hop matter on the fermenter walls. You're doing great. Seal it up and let the yeast do its job! :)

Haha! I'm a nervous nelly about my beers, too. That is exactly what an APA I just bottled looked like, and since that was only my 3rd brew ever, I was worried...until I tasted it and it was delicious :)

Your beer is fine. If it truly was mold, it would be very clear in the flavor profile.

If it were mold it would need a haircut now. I echo that it is just the remains of krausen and break/hop particulate/yeast rafty goodness. Lid her back up, give her a couple days at least until it reads the dame gravity over 3 days and then package and enjoy.
