Mold in bottles

Maybe a dumb question, but I saved some bottles that had commercial beer in them, well I thought I rinsed them out, but when I checked them they had mold in the bottoms of them. If I use a oxygen based cleaner with hot water and then a sanitizer can I still use them? Thanks

Yeah. I used to store all mine out side (i live in the tropics) I would give them a good soak in sanitizer, scrub them out, and rinse. Have never had a problem. Now I keep them inside, rinse after drinking and just rinse with sanitizer before bottling. After dry I cover with tin foil. seems to be working

Yip just use hot water and some type of cleaning agent and ya should be able to shift the mould with a bottling brush

Thanks for the help. It just washed out no problem. I just wanted to make sure it would not infect my beer.
