I planted my hops a couple weeks ago and wrote down which ones I planted in each location, however I found myself second guessing the location of two of them.

I think I may have switched Mt Hood and Goldings.
So my question is, will I be able to tell the difference just by looking at them once they're grown?

I'm pretty sure that I wrote down the locations right but it would be nice if it were possible to verify visually.

If you only have those examples, it's pretty close to a best guess when they get closer to harvest.

If you have other 'known' examples of each, you may be able to compare as they grow and ripen.

I have given up on trying to remember. I stapled tags to each of the poles as I planted them. Just some strips of pop can that I could write on with a ball point pen. The ink, not so much, but the imprint of the pen on the aluminum, pretty much permanent.

Has not got me any closer to ID'ing the hops I found growing here, but it may help the next person...
