You know, in hindsight, I actually probably REALLY would put Milwaukee's Best Light in my 6 pack....... Just drank a 12 pack of it Friday night. That is my "go to" swill beer for camping, canoeing, etc.... Can't drink 7% IPA's, imperial stouts and Belgians all the time. Sometimes, you just need a cooler full of ice-cold, canned, swill. Hmmmm.... since I had two ambers (hop head read and nugget nectar)...... out with the nugget nectar and in with the MBL:)

I lost my "beerginity" to MBL :D. The first time I got drunk was on MBL. After that, MGD was my go to beer for a long time. I don't know if I could ever go back to those types beers after tasting the good stuff. Still, I've been tempted to get a sixer of MGD just for old time's sake.

I agree about a high abv beer for something like camping, but I think I would still prefer a good pale ale or amber. It doesn't have to be 7+% abv. It just has to be good.

I very nearly put Miller Lite on my list. It's still my go to beer when I am paying cards at the Moose Club. Can't beat $1.50 for a pint. Also, my appreciation for the slight corn flavor has come full circle after brewing a couple Classic American Pils at home. Just something about it is comforting and refreshing to me.
