Tasting Notes
Excellent session ale with firm bitterness.
This was my attempt to clone Timothy Taylor's Landlord. I have never tasted TTL, but it just sounded so good from all I had read about it. This version went quickly at our house. How quickly? Well, I kegged it April 27th and forced carbed it. Pulled the first pint six days later on May 1st and it was still a bit green but pretty good. By the end of the following week (~May 6th) it had improved a lot. The haze had cleared, the color a nice light copper, the hop aroma came through and the flavors had mellowed and melded quite nicely. On May 11th my wife & I had a couple of pints before dinner and when I went for one last pint to have with dinner - pssshtt! We had essentailly killed the keg in 11 days!

We could not remember a keg ever getting drained so fast at our house! I had only filled two growlers of this stuff and served maybe 2-3 pints to visitors. Everything else was just me & Mrs. Rhoobarb!

I'm itching to brew this again in 10 gal. form, ASAP! Here it is:

Looks like a good recipe. I had several pints of this on draught in the UK last month. It is an amazing beer.
