Minimal carbonation

Hello,

my Padre and I made a Christmas ale from Brewers best…followed directions to a T and we finally cracked one open after it being bottled for 3 weeks and noticed there is next to no carbonation…kind of perplexed on what happened…any advice?

More details please. What was O G and F G? What was the yeast used? What are the actual ingredients of the kit? How much priming sugar? At what temperature are the bottles being kept?
