MiniBrew Fermentor

Hi

I just got my fridge and temp controller and now looking for a conical. Anyone have any experience with the plastic fermentors called Minibrew? They have a 6.5 gallon model for like $160 vs $270 for a SS model on E-bay. I have read many threads in regards to using plastic in homebrewing with no set pattern.

I have the 14.5 gallon version. If you don't want to spring for the stainless, the plastic is fine

I'd look into Inductor tanks. Requires some DIY'ing skills but you will have a 15 gallon tank for future growth in batch size for less money.
