I'm assuming that you will attach it to something larger because that is only big enough for a 6 pack! Seriously, not big enough to do anything by itself.
 
haha obviously - I will use it inside a insulated fermentation chamber I'm planning on building.

I don't think you can even fit a beer bottle in this thing!

Has anyone used one of these for a fermentation chamber build?

I saw one on craigslist for $10 and figure I'd give this a shot. It may work like one of those hot/cold coolers, which is well enough for a conversion. I'd like to replace the thermostat with a STC-1000 and re-wire it for hot + cold with the controller.
You can turn it into a temp controlled stir-plate.
If a window is required put a polycarbonate one in.
I converted a larger one for a fellow homebrewer..

fermentation chamber for a stir plate huh? You live in a hot climate?

I will update this thread once I get this mini fridge from the guy on craigslist. He lives about 20 minutes away so i will have to pick it up potentially this weekend.
