Ball bearings a plus over Monster Mill or Crankenstien which are the same both use bushings, larger rollers of 21.5% more surface area are on the plus side also.
Now $301 before shipping is rather high dollars if you add a handle plus two roller vs a 3 roller, then there is that gear crushing the grain on the inside with the grain instead of designed on the outside plus the gear wear factor over time would have me worried.
I would rather sand down the knurling in the lathe if it were needed on the Monster Mill as well change bushings if needed over time as that 1144 steel is tough as hell. To really step it up is to counterbore and set flanged sealed ball bearings in the Monster Mill's end plates then you have the same bearing upgrade. The stainless gap adjusting knobs as well the frame they ride in would need to be larger to allow for a stepped sealed ball bearing to fully ball bearing a Monster Mill. I'll worry about that after i'm farting dust and spend the money on a brewing control system
or other piece of brewing equipment.
Yes i'm protecting the MM3-2.0 as I have one but it also has its faults. For $246 at your door I stopped as the money tree is still rather small and sick. JMO's.

hmm, still no go... maybe my dns acting up.... or rather being retarded.
