I know Hops has to grow well here in Michigan, but my question is this. What types of hops are you Michigan Growers growing sucessfully? How high is your yeald?

Have you found any wild hops here in Michigan? If so where? Thanks that's enough for now.

Last year I planted N. Brewer and Cenntennial and Sterling. I got about 3-4 oz my first year, I am near the Flint area.

2 CASCADE
2 CENTENNIAL
1 CHINOOK
1 FUGGLE
2 MAGNUM
1 PERLE
1 WILLAMETTE

This is what I ordered for this year. Somthing has to grow.

You can't go wrong with cascades from what i've been told.

A friend of mine planted a few in Ann Arbor area, but the first year did not get much for yield. He planted in large pots, and admits he might hav eneeded to tend them better, and provide better watering.

I've read that Cascade is probably the most hardy variety, but if you tend them well, most should do well.
