I've brewed I think like 12 times over the past couple years, always using recipes I find online, sometimes modifying them slightly. I wanted a strong oatmeal/ milk stout and couldn't find anything I liked, so I decided to take a crack at a custom recipe. Here it is:
- 14 lbs Two-Row
- 1.5 lbs Roast Barley
- 1.25 lbs Crystal 60L
- 1 lb Amber Malt
- 1 lb Oatmeal
- .5 oz Magnum (60 min)
- 1 oz East Goldings (30 min)
- 1 lb Lactose (10 min)
