I've brewed I think like 12 times over the past couple years, always using recipes I find online, sometimes modifying them slightly. I wanted a strong oatmeal/ milk stout and couldn't find anything I liked, so I decided to take a crack at a custom recipe. Here it is:
  • 14 lbs Two-Row
  • 1.5 lbs Roast Barley
  • 1.25 lbs Crystal 60L
  • 1 lb Amber Malt
  • 1 lb Oatmeal
  • .5 oz Magnum (60 min)
  • 1 oz East Goldings (30 min)
  • 1 lb Lactose (10 min)
Brewer's Friend estimates an OG of 1.085 and a final ABV of 8%. I will be using BIAB. Would like feedback on this if you guys have any suggestions or see anything that seems like a bad idea. I plan on brewing it in the next few days.
