Hi All,

I'm getting ready to go AG. I've done 40 or so batches, about half partial mash. Anyway, my better half bought me a round metal Igloo cooler 10 years ago at a garage sale for brewing and I just got around to setting it up. Winds up the inside appears to be aluminum? It's the old style you would have seen on Caddyshack with the ribbed metal outer shell and it's 10 gallon. I can try to post up pics if no one has any idea what I'm talking about :)

So, any problem with the metal interior and the heat? Not to dredge up an aluminum/SS argument but it's most likely aluminum... I haven't done a heat loss check yet, but that'll be next. So far, it appears to be water tight and in great condition. After all it hasn't seen any use for 10 years or so!

Thanks for any advice!

John.
