Just found a couple bottles of mead I made in 02 at my friends old house. The bottles have a small amount sediment at the bottom, when i picked one up it easily agitated. Would it be better to let it sit at the bottom or should I go ahead and mix it up? I think it might be impossible to pour it without disturbing most of it.

I would leave the sediment to the bottom, chances are that these are no longer beneficial to the flavor.
