Hello!

I'm very, very new to Mead brewing, so new in fact that I've never done it before, and I had a quick question, is it possible to make a good mead in about/under 1 month? I'm sure this isn't ideal, but any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

The BOMM recipe gives a drinkable mead in 30 days, but it is much better with 3 months bulk aging.

I think if you are prepared to use about 2.5 lbs of honey per gallon (sacrificing some flavor that you might get if you used 3-3.5 lbs of honey per gallon) then you can make a "drinkable" mead in a month. As RegarRenill says, the mead will improve if you can wait a few more months, but it can be clear and bright in 30 days
