McMaster-Carr small ball lock connector plunger o-ring

Hello everyone, I found the post with the McMaster-Carr part number for the larger flat o-ring, Just wondering if anyone has the part number for the o-ring
that goes on the plastic plunger with the spring?

A flat O-ring? I think that technically must have some other name. Are you talking about a flat washer or is this one of those seals that are a square piece of material formed into a circle.

Not quite a O-ring... maybe a square-ring!

Regardless, just do what any one selling seals will do and measure the old rings inner diameter and the thickness of the material.

Or if that is not available, measure those places where the seal sets. Digital calipers help. Even the cheapo $7.00 ones you can buy at Harbor Freight or other discount stores.

This diagram illustrates what the plunger inside a ball lock connector looks like. The plunger (ID SH-815) has a very tiny O-ring that might have a round cross section...or not. SH-817 is the flat plastic gasket that seals the cap...

Thanks day_tripper, for looking this up, yes I need the o-ring for SH-815. After some digging I found them at Universal Poppet Replacement O-Rings - Food Safe Silicone | valuebrew.com
