Mash Tun

Hello I've recently made my mash tun with copper and SS and I went outside to look at it and it smelled very very metallic like someone took Rust and metal and let it sit there will this affect my beer and can I get rid of it?

These are the common materials used. As long as you clean them with due care before use, should be no issue. I mean, they are metal. If they smelled like meat I'd worry.
