Mash paddles

I want a custom mash paddle or learn how to make one myself. I’ve seen some videos on making them but my woodworking skills are poor so that is not possible all by myself. I would be willing to learn from someone though if you would be close to me and willing to teach a little.

What I really want is a custom made maple mash paddle. I have a design in mind of the grill of a Vehicle but I don’t know if it is too intricate or too large for a paddle (not full scale).Someone point me in the right direction or tell me it won’t work, I have other ideas too.

Not sure how difficult it would be to make yourself, but I would hit up your local breweries and see if they use someone local for tap handles. Those guys can probably make mash paddles as well.
