Anyone have a good solution for marking liquid measurement levels in the brew pot. Trying to see if anyone anyone has found something that works other than having to drill more holes(and pay more $$!) to install a sight glass.

I use a metal rule which I have calibrated by adding measured volumes of water to the pot and then reading the depth in inches. Then I wrote the data on graph paper, filled in the datapoints with a curve and then I laminated the sheet and keep it by the pot.

I was all set to etch some lines into my new kettle when I realized that I am doing BIAB so I wouldn't be able to see them anyway. I had a perfect sized dowel in the garage, so it's done.
