Just curious if there is a market for a fermenter temp control tube? I have plans for a simple tube style chiller/heater that utilizes a 12v glycol system. I know that the immersion pro system is out there but I think there is a way to make a more efficient system for cheaper. Could this a useful item?

Hard to say, build a prototype and then make a you tube video showing how it performs. If its any good, they'll sell if the price is right.

This is going to fit through the neck of a carboy?
If so, efficiency is probably going to be a lot lower than what a jacket can provide...

Cheers!

The problem with the Immersion pro is its a peltier cooler, and just by the laws of physics there are certain restrictions about how cold or hot it can actually get something. Im skeptical such a small peltier setup could be +-35F from Ambient, but who knows.

It wouldnt take much to buy a SS coil off Stainlessbrewing or someone, hook a few compression fittings on the end and hook it up to a glycol system.
