anyone got a good recipe for this. I want to go big with it, maybe even barleywine-ish. kinda thinkin sumtin like -life and limb-.

there are maple flavorings/extracts that can be purchased. as far as honey, just use honey malt and i have also considered trying to use bee pollen in a beer although it is bitter. if you experiment with this before i do, please let me know your results! Many meads barely even taste like honey, you're getting into the 10-15 lb range for honey in a 5 gallon brew if you hope to taste it. i once primed a porter with honey and got some good results, though...give it a shot!

Thanks for the help. will let u know what I come up with.
