ive researched using malto dextrin in my next batch to improve head retention. has anyone used this before and if so what is the process? do u substitute it for corn suger? and is it ok to use it with a coopers malt extract kit. at what time should it be added to the wort?

Malto Dextrin is NON-fermentable which is why it adds body (viscosity) and help improve head retention. It is NOT a substitute to dextrose (corn sugar).

so should i stick to the current recipe and add the malto dextrin, how much should i add for a 5 gallon batch?
