I have a cold but I need to make some home-brew.

I'm usually meticulous with respect to sanitation. Is it safe for me to make beer, or is there a high risk of contamination due to the fact that I have a cold?

I would say that if you maintain strict sanitary measures, as you always should, then you shouldn't have a problem. Sanitary is sanitary no matter what.

Have a few brews to fix what ails you!:mug:

Unless you have some freak cold then that virus cannot infect your beer. But, you still wouldn't want to sneeze in your beer.

Your respiratory tract is colonized with so many different kinds of bacteria even when you feel great that it really won't make a difference to your beer. Plus, as already metioned, if you've got a viral bug (most likely a rhino or coronavirus), it can't do a damn thing your beer anyway!
